Meet our team

  • Cindy Phillpott, LCSW, CCPT, C-DBT, ASDCS

Everyone has the ability to heal, grow, and create meaningful change in their lives, and I feel privileged to walk alongside my clients as they navigate that journey.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Florida Atlantic University and my Master of Social Work from Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida, in 1998. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work in both nonprofit and private outpatient mental health settings, supporting children, adolescents, young adults, and families through a variety of challenges.

My clinical experience includes working with individuals and families coping with trauma, anxiety, depression, abuse, relationship and family concerns, and difficult life transitions. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and comfortable being themselves.

My approach is compassionate and collaborative. I believe therapy is most effective when clients feel respected and empowered to participate in their own healing and growth. I work with each client to understand their unique experiences, build on their strengths, develop practical coping skills, and move toward the changes they want to make in their lives.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Georgia and hold certifications as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), Certified Dialectical Behavior Therapist (C-DBT), and Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist (ASDCS).

I have received specialized training in Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT), an evidence-based behavioral treatment for individuals experiencing Tourette syndrome or other persistent tic disorders. I am a listed provider with the Tourette Association of America, reflecting my specialized training in working with individuals and families affected by tic disorders.

It is an honor to support clients as they work through challenges, discover their strengths, and build a greater sense of confidence, resilience, and hope for the future.

  • Shannon Dixon, LMSW, CCTP

Over my career I have had the privilege of working in many areas including adolescent and adult inpatient care, individual and couples’ therapy and community group therapy with single mothers and at-risk youth.  I am a Licensed Master Social Worker with a Certification in Trauma Counseling in the state of Georgia.
